The Strasburg Community Garden is located the Strasburg Town Park is a cooperative venture of the Lord Fairfax Soil and Water Conservancy, Master Gardener's Association, Signal Knob Middle School FFA, Strasburg High School FFA, BSA, and local area faith communities.
Lydia's Clothes Closet, Inc. provides warm and affordable clothing for all residents of Strasburg, but also provides clothing free of charge to families in need because of disaster, homelessness and economic condition.
Response is a resource for individuals and families who face domestic violence. They ae located in Woodstock, VA and provide direct support for legal matters, resettlement, counseling and emotional support.
Scouting America Troop 5
The new name of the Boy Scouts is Scouting America. Troop 5 has been in existence since 1928 and is chartered by Strasburg Rotary. It has met at Strasburg UMC for many years and has produced nearly 100 Eagle Scouts.
All proceeds received from this event are managed and distributed by the Strasburg United Methodist Church.
